A Rack 8 can hold up to eight Transient Recorder (TR40-16bit-3U or PR40). Additional Power supply modules for APD's or PMT's can be installed instead of the Transient Recorder's. The weight with one Transient Recorder is 14kg and with 8 Transient Recorders 19kg.
